Advanced School on Gravitational Waves

The Department of Physics, Presidency University, Kolkata is organizing an advanced School on Gravitational Waves covering several key features of the subject, including data analysis, the instrumentation at A-LIGO and other detectors, quasi-normal modes and post-Newtonian approximation approach to the dynamics of mergers and general astrophysical aspects of gravitational wave astronomy.   The school is meant for graduate students, postdocs and advanced undergraduate students (B.Sc and M.Sc) interested in Gravitational Waves and allied Physics.  Non-Presidency students would need to submit a reference letter from their advisor/mentor/teacher/HOD in support of their application.
